Welcome to GS EBGo

Graduate School of Economic Behavior and Governance is the structured graduate program offered by the department of economics at the University of Kassel.

Program

GS EBGo aims to provide an excellent environment for research work, training,  and collaboration for Ph.D. students. GS EBGo students provide research work on a wide range of topics e.g. Experimental and Behavioral Economics; Energy and environmental economics;  Spatial and international economics; Innovation economics and entrepreneurship.

GS EBGo Doctoral Seminars

GS EBGo Doctoral Seminars provide an opportunity for PhDs to present their research work and receive feedback from the peers and senior researchers. It is compulsory to present at least once a year for all Ph.D. students starting from the second year of their doctorate.

Courses

The research-oriented courses constitute the core of GS EBGo activity. Every GS EBGo Ph.D. student must acquire 30 ECTS for the research-oriented courses (at least 24 ECTs at the field of research methods or topic specific courses).

Students can fulfill this requirement by successfully passing next courses:
